What is Common Ground?
Common Ground is an initiative for urban agriculture and food security which uses underutilized urban space to build community gardens.
How can I get involved?
You can volunteer, attend workshops, or contribute to our community gardens.
What types of produce do you grow?
Our first project will focus on basic high yield food crops like squash, tomatoes, potatoes and leafy greens. As we expand we will add mushrooms, fruits and nuts to our production!
Where are you located?
We transform neglected spaces in urban areas into vibrant food systems. We are currently in talks with the City of Toronto to decide where our pilot garden project will be.
Do you offer educational programs?
Yes, we provide workshops on gardening and food sustainability that are geared to all ages and experience levels.
